背景资料: Tryptases comprise a family of trypsin-like serinenproteases, the peptidase family S1. Tryptases are enzymaticallynactive only as heparin-stabilized tetramers, and they are resistantnto all known endogenous proteinase inhibitors. Several tryptasengenes are clustered on chromosome 16p13.3. These genes arencharacterized by several distinct features. They have a highlynconserved 3' UTR and contain tandem repeat sequences at the 5'nflank and 3' UTR which are thought to play a role in regulation ofnthe mRNA stability. These genes have an intron immediately upstreamnof the initiator Met codon, which separates the site ofntranscription initiation from protein coding sequence. This featurenis characteristic of tryptases but is unusual in other genes. Thenalleles of this gene exhibit an unusual amount of sequencenvariation, such that the alleles were once thought to represent twonseparate genes, alpha and beta 1. Beta tryptases appear to be thenmain isoenzymes expressed in mast cells; whereas in basophils,nalpha tryptases predominate. Tryptases have been implicated asnmediators in the pathogenesis of asthma and other allergic andninflammatory disorders.

免疫原: This TPSAB1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 61-87 amino acids from the Central region of human TPSAB1.

保存建议: Store at 4˚C for three months and -20˚C, stable for up to one year. As with all antibodies care should be taken to avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles. Antibodies should not be exposed to prolonged high temperatures.
