Cell Lysis Buffer is used to lyse cells under non-denaturing conditions. If recommended add 1 mM PMSF or other protease inhibitor immediately before use. Keep all reagents and lysates in ice.nnFor adherent cells add 400µL of buffer per 10cm flask once they have been washed in 1X PBS.nFor suspended cells add 400 µL of buffer per million cells once they have been washed in 1X PBS and pelleted.nFor tissue lysates add 20µL of buffer per 1mg of tissue followed by homogenization and sonication.

Store cell lysis buffer at -20° C prior to opening. Buffer is stable for up to 2 years stored at -20°C. It is recommended to aliquot and freeze buffer for extended usage. Store thawed buffer at 2-8°C for no longer than 2 weeks.
