Dehydroascorbate Reductase 2 exhibits glutathione-dependent thioltransferase and dehydroascorbate (DHA) reductase activities. It is the key component of the ascorbate recycling system and involved in the redox homeostasis, especially in scavenging of ROS under oxidative stresses. It plays a role in ozone tolerance.
