Dengue fever is caused by one of four closely related virus serotypes of the genus Flavivirus, family Flaviviridae, patient may have the second dengue fever infected by the different serotype virus after the primary infection. Detection of specific antibodies to dengue viruses has been used for the diagnosis in clinic. Recently, rapid test has become a most convenient and popular method in the clinical diagnosis. However, there is great difficulty for the manufacturers to have the dengue antigens with the good binding ability to colloid gold, production of strong signal / low background and detection of all four serotype dengue infections for their dengue rapid test development and production.
