PCL(1k)-PEG(3k)-ALK is a block copolymer with a hydrophobic polycaprolactone (PCL) segment chemically tethered to a hydrophilic PEG block. The alkyne can react with azide via Copper Catalyzed Azide-Alkyne Cycloaddition (CuAAC) to form a stable triazole linkage. The polymer is micelle-forming and biodegradable. It can be used to encapsulate hydrophobic drugs in the core region of the micelles. Reagent grade, for research purpose.
