DLPG, also known as 1,2-Dilauroyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphorylglycerol, is a phospholipid containing lauric acid (12 chain fatty acid) inserted at the sn-1 and sn-2 positions. Its phosphate group is attached to glycerol. The molecule can form lipid bilayer in an aqueous solution and is used in the generation of micelles, liposomes, and other artificial membranes. Reagent grade, for research purpose. Please contact us for GMP-grade inquiries.
