Human macrophage/monocyte chemotactic and activating factor （MCAF），also called human monocyte chemotactic protein-1 （MCP-1），is an 8.6 kDa protein containing 76 amino acid residues. It plays an important role in the inflammatory response of blood monocytes and tissue microphages.

Western blot analysis （0.5-4 ug/ml）. However， the optimal conditions should be determined individually. Recombinant human MCP-1 （Cat.#: 4222-20） can be used as a positive control.
