Epitope tags are useful for the labeling and detection of proteins using immunoblotting，immunoprecipitation，and immunostaining techniques. The HA tag is derived from an epitope of the influenza hemagglutinin protein，which has been extensively used as a general epitope tag in expression vectors.

The Anti-HA-FITC antibody can be used for one-step localization of recombinant HA-tagged proteins by standard immunofluorescence methods （2-10 ug/ml）. However， the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody detects HA-tag fused to the C-terminus or N-terminus of targeted proteins in transfected mammalian cells.
