The competitive inhibition reaction is launched between pre-coated Deoxynivalenol and Deoxynivalenol in standards or samples with the Deoxynivalenol antibody. A substrate solution is added to the wells and the color develops in opposite to the amount of Deoxynivalenol in the standards or samples.
