LIN28 is a highly conserved cytoplasmic RNAbinding protein. Lin28 has an N-terminal cold shock domain and two Cterminal （CCHC） zinc finger motif. It is expressed in embryonic stem cells and embryonic carcinoma cells. Lin28 is also found in adult cardiac and skeletal muscle.
