Anti-Lipoamide dehydrogenase recognizes the protein lipoamide dehydrogenase. Lipoamide dehydrogenase catalyzes the conversion of lipoamide to dihydrolipoamide with the concomitant oxidation of NADH to NAD+. Lipoamide dehydrogenase is known to play a role in alpha-ketoacid dehydrogenase complexes as well glycine cleavage system. Defects in lipoamide dehydrogenase result in congenital infantile acidosis and maple syrup urine disease. Anti-Lipoamide dehydrogenase is suitable for investigators interested in metabolism, neurology, and cancer.
