TelC是一种富C的端粒探针,用于领先链(TAACCC的重复序列),而TelG是一种富G的端粒探针,用于滞后链(TTAGGG的重复序列)。TelC和TelG PNA端粒探针均可用于人类、小鼠和大鼠染色体。
CENPB探针是着丝粒蛋白B(CENP-B)的结合位点,CENP-B是主要的着丝粒特异性蛋白之一。探针序列为ATTCGTTGGAAACGGGA,它染色所有人类和小鼠着丝粒的小卫星,除了Y染色体。
Cent探针特异性地针对人类α卫星着丝粒,不与小鼠发生反应。探针序列为AAACTAGACAGAAGCAT。
